Visitors will be able to check in to the resort while checking out from the hustle and bustle, and immersing in a memorable stay.
For those wishing to level up, the progression and wellness centre will offer a hub for coaching and warming up or down. With break-out rooms for 1 on 1 video feedback, a pavilion for mobility work or training, hot and cold plunge pools, and a skate ramp, this area will provide the tools surfers need to progress (and other visitors can use to unwind).
Nestled amongst the tranquil bushland on the Eastern side of the Surf Lake, the accommodation zone will offer lodging where visitors can retreat to their personal space and relax.
The dining and arrival hall’s southwest aspect will provide the premier vantage point of the site’s magnificent sunsets, where visitors can kick back and enjoy the view as another surf-stacked day melts into a temperate Capricorn Coast evening.
The wholly owned 90-acre site has a Master Plan approval granted for a variety of potential future uses, including:
With development approvals granted, and designs well underway, discussions are now taking place with capital partners with the goal of commencing construction once funded.
The Capricorn Coast region / Darumbal Country is blessed with a tropical climate that sees 21°C winters and boasts a wealth of tourist attractions, from natural wonders such as The Great Barrier Reef, Capricorn Cave system, national parks, islands, and pristine beaches, to wildlife sanctuaries, golf courses, and a range of adventure activities such as hiking, mountain biking, skydiving, and snorkelling.
Regarding the project, Surf Lakes Capricorn Coast CEO, Lewis Glynn said, “Our vision is simple; to set new expectations for a surf experience and create memories that last a lifetime. With such a rich surfing heritage, we believe Australia deserves this facility.”
“I am beyond excited to be showing a first glimpse of the newly proposed resort. Our design objective has been to curate an immersive surf and stay experience that best compliments the location.”
“The location is close to our hearts. With tranquil surroundings and a tropical climate, we have hosted many private weekends for potential investors to surf and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Our only regret has been our restricted ability to share this experience with the public.”
Aaron Trevis, Founder & CEO of Surf Lakes Global Inc, is thrilled to have the project moving forward for investment. “Surf Lakes technology speaks for itself,” Trevis said. “A playground of ocean-like waves, of varying difficulty, breaking simultaneously around the lake, so that everyone gets a break. It is such a blessing to see the project investor-ready.”
